He has recently been the farm manager at leading pharmaceutical company growing botanical medicine.
over 35 years of experience in business, ranging from more formal large corporates to small start-ups.
He was a founder and shareholder in Sunpride, which was one of the first fruit export businesses after de-regulation after 1994.
Roy is a director of Afrifresh Holdings, which currently has interests in large-scale farming in Zimbabwe, and had fruit distribution centres in Europe & Asia. Until late 2016, Roy was an Exec Director of the Afrifresh Group, one of the largest integrated agri businesses in South Africa, which owned and operated more than 12 large farming operations across SA.
He is a passionate supporter of entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with a significant network.

Saskia completed her PhD in plant pathology in 2013, and from 2014-2020 held two collaborative postdoctoral fellowships at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and at Coventry University, UK. In her postdoctoral research, she investigated quantum-based agricultural techniques and technologies that use sound, electromagnetics, subtle catalytic substances (such as ormus), and intuitive abilities in farm management decision-making.
With 12 years of experience in teaching and facilitating, her passion for extending knowledge inspired her to bring various international experts to host workshops in South Africa, and to help build an international network of farmers, technical advisors and researchers for this emerging field of research.
She is now a facilitator, educator, consultant and researcher in Ecofluency – the science, art and magic of two-way communication with the rest of Nature, as a vital way of knowing and as a resource for harmonious relating with all life.
